This one day course is designed to build on the information from the Basic course. Seminar style problem solving. Update on diseases and legal issues, review of multi-drug resistant organisms, MRSA, VRE, C-diff, H1N1 and the vaccine, Norovirus, MERS and Ebola virus.

A two day course designed to prepare the attendee for assuming the important role of Infection Control Officer.

This program will meet OSHA required annual update training on bloodborne pathogens & Air-borne and Droplet Transmitted Diseases. Other topics will include the new hand hygiene guidelines, new TB guidelines, clarifying HBV vaccine issues, HCV risk issues/treatment & OSHA citation/fine information.

The Preceptor Training is designed to prepare preceptors to accept students from SCEMSA and SC EMS Education Programs. Preceptor Training is required for all Paramedic Preceptor Capstones.
