SCEMSA Leadership I

An EMS centric introductory leadership course covering leadership topics including culture, communication, and ethics among others.

Description

This course is designed with significant input from the EMS Leadership Community from across the State of South Carolina. Utilizing this input the course was developed to serve as foundational leadership course to better prepare you for entry into EMS Leadership. Throughout this course you will be utilize many resources including, LinkedIn Education, Textbook Readings, and Short Videos/Lectures to learn material. You will then be applying these concepts through developmental assignments that help you apply these concepts to real world examples of EMS Leadership.

The EMS Instructor Training Program focuses on those skills necessary to successfully present any of the Certificate EMS courses (EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, CEP) and meets the SCDHEC Requirements for Instructional Methods.
